Join us for the inaugural Simple, Healthy & Delicious series.
In this first class learn all about salads, from their components to their preparation.
This class will showcase several salads and salad dressings along with sharing ways to include healthier options at the dinner table and beyond.
Salads are not only delicious and nutritious, in this class we will demonstrate how simple eating healthy can be; from buying ingredients to preparing the food and getting it on the table with little clean up and dishes.
In particular special focus will be paid to techniques that give salads and dressing ample versatility and range, pairing them with different meats, fish, and other vegetables.
Recipes may include:
Planked Butternut Squash with Baby Kale, Sunflower Seeds, Pecorino Cheese & Lemon Olive Oil Vinaigrette
Apple & Celery Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast
California Hummus Plate with Avocado, Apple, Walnuts, Cucumber, Carrots, Pomegranate
