Online Cooking Class Facebook Live

Chef Curtiss started these Facebook Live cooking lessons to continue to share his expertise, humor and authentic cooking style with you, your family and friends to help you navigate the kitchen in these trying times. This coming Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 5:30 PM, Chef Curtiss will continue with some delicious and easy dishes.

Summer Flavors

Chef Curtiss is celebrating the beautiful weather with this menu. Learn to add some serious flavor to your summer repertoire tonight.

As usual we kick off with libations, this time we are building a beautiful white sangria with fresh fruit. The 1911 Honeycrisp Apple Wine is the back bone for the sangria and is complemented with fresh apples, grapes, watermelon, peaches, pears and rosemary.

We then get to the business of cooking dinner. Chef Curtiss will begin by marinating his Vietnamese inspired local pork steaks. While the pork is marinating Chef will crisp shallots for the Charred Beans, then pull dinner together for us.

The menu ecipes for the class include:

Honeycrisp Sangria
1911 honeycrisp apple wine, apple, white grape, watermelon, peach, pear, herb

Vietnamese Pork Steak
pork shoulder steak, shallots, fish sauce, lime, brown sugar, tamari, herbs, greens

Charred Beans
green beans, shallots, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, tamari
